  • Suffolk Orienteering Club are very sorry to announce the death of our Mapping Officer, Simon Peck, at Addenbrook’s Hospital on Wed 9th Sept following major surgery in July. Simon was a long term member of SUFFOC and his enthusiasm and support to the club will be greatly missed but he leaves a great legacy in the quantity and quality of his orienteering maps...

  • Saturday's score event in Haughley Park proved to be highly enjoyable - our thanks to Roderick for planning the courses..

  • Two of our committee members are standing down from their roles at the AGM next Saturday: Bronwen Mansel as PUNCH editor and Sarah Mansel as Team Captain. Our thanks to them both for their excellent work. The task now is to find replacements from within our membership..

  • A record number of SuffOC members made the trip north to the Inverness area for the biennial Scottish 6 Days event, which, this year, had the added interest of the World Championships being held alongside. The main events were held in Achagour, Strathfarrar, Darnaway and Glen Affric, with urban sprints in Nairn and Forres.
