The AGM is held in September or October and is usually preceded by a members-only orienteering event.
In 2013 we were treated to a mini urban score event around the network of quiet roads, paths, and open spaces of Grange Farm estate, Kesgrave - using fire hydrants as DIY control points!
2014 saw us in Broom Hill, North Ipswich, being challenged to an event with a difference - all controls shown on the map, no pink route lines, but controls had to be recorded in sequence. How? Once the event started, each control visited gave a clue to the next one on the route, and the trick was to complete as many short sequences as possible within 45 minutes. Simple - or was it?
