Join us for our next event at Tunstall Forest. Tunstall Forest is a large Forestry Commission plantation to the north east of Woodbridge. The courses will be mainly within the area used by the Viking Trail for off-road cycling. The terrain is largely cultivated coniferous forest with a few open areas and areas of mixed woodland to add variety. Although the map has few contours, there are plenty of relief features such as pits and earthbanks and surprisingly varied vegetation to offer an orienteering challenge. This area was last used for orienteering in 2023 since when brashings have further decayed leaving pleasant running in many parts of the forest. There may still be some dead or dying bracken, though courses will avoid this where possible. The map has been updated for this event.

The event will be SUFFOC's nominated event for the East Anglian Orienteering Association's East Anglian League.
