Holywells & Landseer Parks
Description:
This consists of a municipal park and a public open space in the centre of Ipswich. There is a mixture of parkland with mature trees, a wooded scarp slope, and large, undulating grassy areas, together with a good path network and numerous point features.
The mixture of features, plus its accessibility and visitor facilities, makes it ideal for smaller fixtures such as our Simon Peck Summer Series and our Sport England-sponsored Ipswich-O events.

Holywells and Landseer Parks Social MapRun

This is our third social MapRun of the summer in Holywells and Landseer Park. This will included a 60minute score course with 30 controls in Holywells Park (parkland and woodland) and Landseer Park (heathland and woodland) with connecting residential roads. There will also be a shorter 40minute score course with 15 controls in Landseer Park with no road crossings for any unaccompanied juniors. The event will start at Landseer Park Car Park in Ipswich at 6pm. Timings and scores will be tracked via the MapRun app. We will also be meeting afterwards at The Raven pub for drinks and/or food. We hope that you will join us.
